Cashflex Loans @ www.cashflex.co.uk
Cashflex is an instalment loan brand created by Chester’s Digitonomy Ltd. This company was established by a former MoneySuperMarket employee (Tim Moss). Projects have been created directed at deals, energy, finance, insurance etc, but they are really making their mark as a loan intermediary. You may be familiar with the Little Loans and Minute Money brands. It is however Flex that has become the central focus, having received huge ad spends in Google over the past several months. This has really helped to boost their web popularity. From undertaking keyword checks, much more people were running searches for them under the spelling of Cash Flex. We have however titled them as they brand themselves.
The launch of www.cashflex.co.uk came in early 2014. It does state on the homepage that they have been around since 2013, but this is a reference to Digitonomy who were incorporated in February 2013. The Cashflex loans span between £100 and £5000. The repayment terms are stretched out between 3 months and 3 years. There are however restrictions when you fiddle around with their loan calculator. £100 is for instance selectable over 3, 6 or 12 months. At the other end of the scale £5k must be set against 12, 18, 24 or 36. Unlike most brokers, there is no bad credit targeting here. The calculator displays competitive rates that are headlined as indicators only.
The £300 charges were £34.98 (3) and £62.88 (6). The headed APR was 68.7% for both average and excellent. For £1000 over a year the prices showed as £259.52 (average) and £51.08 (excellent). This £51.08 price is similar to Zopa’s current charge of £50.24. Their instalment examples are below what’s available on the market and so you shouldn’t pay much attention. Same day funding is promised assuming that a match is made with their unnamed lenders. Cashflex’s site is professionally designed and encrypted. Their feedback on Feefo is supportive and they are clearly busy, with a claim of processing over 3500 loans daily. Their opening hours aren’t shared and so standard working hours between Mon/Fri would be expected.
