Aspire Money Ltd is an experienced loan broker who most people will be familiar with through their core brand as served at www.aspiremoney.co.uk. Citrus Loans is another popular trading name whilst they also use Opal. The owner was incorporated in late 2007 although Aspire’s Facebook page notes formation in November 2005. They were originally based locally to us in Stockport, but now operate from Dudley. The contact number of 0161 350 0670 suggests that they still have a base across Manchester though. In the products area there are targeted loan pages for unsecured, secured and funding for cars. It is the Aspire personal loans that we’ll be looking at here.

Cash Kitty had originally existed as one of the main trading brands of 9Global Inc. They are headed in California (San Bruno), but have also had an office in London. There was a vast range of 9Global brands circulating such as Asap Payday, Find the Finance, Quid Squid, The Money Finders, WageDay Finders etc. The brand in focus and also Now Payday were the most successful brokerage projects. Cash Kitty was launched in 2012, but then closed alongside every other asset when 9Global’s FCA permission ended in 2015. The www.cashkitty.co.uk site was later registered from fresh in September 2016. The new listed owner is William Ellis Sinclair. This broker team that is based in Bridgend has been keeping busy.

Cash Lady (aka CashLady) is one of the most recognisable broker brands famed for their controversial TV ads. It was naturally seen as an irresponsible choice to opt with Kerry Katona as the brand mascot due to her past bankruptcy. This contract would of course come to an abrupt end when Kerry Katona entered bankruptcy once again. She bizarrely went on to launch her own gambling venture (www.bingowithkerry.com). The Cash Lady loans were launched in 2011. They now operate from www.cashlady.com, but had started out on the .co.uk extension. The owner trades through this company and also KwikCash who themselves have benefited from a TV ad campaign. FlexCredit was a further project that has now closed.

Cashflex is an instalment loan brand created by Chester’s Digitonomy Ltd. This company was established by a former MoneySuperMarket employee (Tim Moss). Projects have been created directed at deals, energy, finance, insurance etc, but they are really making their mark as a loan intermediary. You may be familiar with the Little Loans and Minute Money brands. It is however Flex that has become the central focus, having received huge ad spends in Google over the past several months. This has really helped to boost their web popularity. From undertaking keyword checks, much more people were running searches for them under the spelling of Cash Flex. We have however titled them as they brand themselves.

Castle Finance Direct Ltd was incorporated in 2003 and later in 2004 followed www.castlefinancedirect.co.uk. This experienced loan broker has traded through a few other trading brands over the years, but these have all closed with full focus shifting to this central company. Castle’s web popularity is high, but a lot of this stems from their controversial broker fee charged at £79. This isn’t clearly made visible on the site. Applicants are made aware of it at the point of being accepted by their own department. This is however no guarantee of acceptance from a lender. Some applicants proceed believing that they have qualified for a sizeable personal loan that can cover this charge, yet they haven’t.
